This is an exciting new project that will evaluate, through a nationwide trial, Kentucky bluegrass and tall fescue for their water use and drought resistance. Data generated from this project will be used to identify, label and certify low-water using cool-season grass cultivars for use on lawns, parks, athletic fields and golf courses. We were awarded $35,000 per year for three years ($105,000 total) to help with the funding of this project.
